To ensure conformance to specified requirements, the company has implemented and maintains an effective documented quality system fully meeting the requirements of ISO9001:2015.

 

It is the strategy of the company to continue the family business, achieve customer satisfaction by giving a quality product delivered on time, provide a safe and healthy environment for employees, comply with legislation, and make a profit on trading.

 

From analysing the key issues shown on the context review matrix and swot analysis, together with risks and opportunities and interested parties records, policies are raised and objectives set.

 

The management of the company will review the effectiveness of the quality management system to a pre-determined schedule with objective of identifying and implementing changes that improve the working of the system, leading to greater customer satisfaction and prevent deviation and/or non-conformance, and will ensure that those resources that are necessary for product and service conformance are made available, and ensure the involvement and commitment of all employees.

 

The company strives to continually improve the system carrying out internal audits, reviewing the Analysis of Data form and analysing corrective and preventive actions.

Environmental Policy Statement

Mothstone Ltd is committed to the provision of products and services that meet the customers specified and anticipated needs and expectations and comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations as well as non-legislative codes of conduct to which we subscribe that related to our business activities.

The company has implemented and maintains an effective documented environmental system fully meeting the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. We recognise that our activities interact with the Environment and are committed to minimising adverse impact and improving process efficiency.

Context of the organisation will be considered when setting the policy.

The company will review the Environmental impacts of our business, employing best practice to prevent pollution and waste whilst maximising the efficient use of resources and involving employees and contractors in our Environmental programmes and providing training where required and engaging in dialogue with suppliers and distributors to encourage their participation in Environmental best practice.

The management of the company will review the effectiveness of the environmental management system to a pre-determined schedule, strive for improvement in Environmental performance through identification of objectives, setting targets and reviewing these as part of our Environmental Management System.

Every employee has responsibility to help meet the requirements of this policy. All are invited to contribute ideas for better practice.


Health and Safety Policy


It is the policy of this company to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and welfare of all employees and that of any other persons who may be affected by our work activities is protected from risk to their health or safety. We recognise that occupational health and safety forms an integral part of our business and knowledge that the health and safety of employee and non-employee is of paramount importance.

We are committed to effectively managing health and safety from our work activities and complying with our legal obligations. We will keep a register of the regulations that apply to our company and assess that we comply with the current legislation in particular, we will ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that:

  • The working environment is provided and maintained so that it is safe, without risk to health and adequate with respect to facilities and arrangements for the welfare of employees.


Further we will ensure that suitable and sufficient risk assessments are carried out to identify hazards and make arrangements for the implementation of suitable control measurements.

We firmly believe that the success of this policy relies on the full co-operation of all employees; therefore, we will ensure that is brought to their notice. It is our intention to regularly review this policy to take account of any significant changes in the company's operations.
